The family of 19-year old Brandeis Codde, who was fatally shot by a Milpitas Police Officer this past Sunday, has started a GoFundMe page. They’re asking for donations to help pay for funeral expenses.

Anyone know why countries that aren’t the US are able to deal with mentally ill people without killing them? Lots of people undergoing a crisis can be helped and go on to be full members of society. Mental illness is not their fault.
In the US, since the Reagan administration, it is government policy to end the lives of emotionally and mentally challenged people, when the opportunity arises. And if the person is non white, not of north western european genetics, the ones who perform the ending get bonuses.
