Urgent: Missing Person in Milpitas

A Milpitas resident has gone missing.

His name is Mark Herbert Thornton and he’s 63 years old. The Milpitas Police Department has classified him as “at risk.”

This past Thursday, March 7, 2019, Mr. Thornton left his residence at Coelho Street’s 400 block. He was on foot.

He has not returned.

Mr. Thornton takes medication for a variety of medical ailments. He stands 5 foot 9 and weighs 164 pounds. His eyes are blue and his hair is grey-black.

Those who last saw him say he was wearing a red vest, black jeans, and gray hiking boots (shirt color unknown).

The MPD advises anyone who has seen Mr. Thornton, or has any information on his whereabouts, to call 911.
