Things to Do in Milpitas on the Weekend of July 21-22

 

July 21: Let’s Kick Cancer 

10am

Milpitas Sports Center

1325 E Calaveras Blvd

Milpitas, CA 95035

Come out for a fun day of soccer games, kid’s activities, entertainment, and food. The kids in our community will be playing three soccer games, so let’s all cheer them on! Opening ceremony starts at 10:00am. Suggested donation is $5. All monies raised will go to the American Cancer Society. Learn more here.

 

July 21: Wine Tasting and Live Music  

12pm – 5pm

Big Dog Vineyards 

4545 Felter Rd.

Milpitas, CA 95035

Open to the public for wine tasting from 12:00pm-5:00pm. Reservations are not necessary, but suggested if you have a large group. A selection of five of our estate-made wines is available for $10, or if you’d like one of our engraved glasses, $20. We don’t offer any food, but you are always welcome to bring snacks or lunch and enjoy it on our patio. You can also bring your dog! As long as they are friendly, fixed, and vaccinated, we’d love to have your dog join us as well.  Live music with Ben Hicks goes from 1pm – 4pm. July 21: Play and Learn

11am – 12pm

in the Kids Activity Room

Join us every Saturday at 11am in the Activity Room for Play and Learn.  This program is geared for children ages 0-5 and their families.  We will have toys, puzzles, and games for children and their caregivers to enjoy.

 

July 21: Message in a Bottle Craft

4:00pm – 5:30pm

Send an SOS to the world and craft a MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE. Keep it for yourself or hope that someone gets it. All supplies will be provide and the program is FREE, as always.  Hope to see you there!Only adults and teens may attend (no children under 12 please).

July 22: Movie Matinee

Milpitas Library

Come and watch the movie TRACKS at the Milpitas Library! Come to our Auditorium on Sundays and embrace travel and adventures in MOVIES.  Adapted from novels, the MOVIES that we’ve selected will take you around the world and even into outer space!  No need for a suitcase. PLEASE NOTE: The movies in this series are intended for an ADULT AUDIENCE and are PG-13.  They may ot be appropriate for younger viewers.

 

July 22: Concert

Come watch and listen to a Harmonium Solo Performance and vocal performance at the ICC.
