SERPA DR 

In a domestic violence incident, a husband was arrested for attacking his wife. 

HEATH ST

A homeowner caught a glimpse of a subject in his door camera, knocking on the door, while the homeowner was away from home. The police were called and the subject did not achieve entry into the house. 

N MILPITAS BL 

A missing person, upon being found, explained to police that he didn’t want to be in contact with his wife — the one who’d reported him missing. 

December 29, 2019

GERALD CR 

A strong-arm robbery involving several subjects who were acquaintances. One subject took another’s wallet and cash, then pushed the victim and disappeared from the scene. The victim claimed no prior relation to the subject who’d pushed and robbed him, despite the group having appeared to be acquainted. 

COYOTE CREEK WY 

Domestic violence between a husband and a wife, engaged in mutual combat, with no dominant aggressor. Police sent a complaint on both parties to the D.A.

December 30, 2019

SELWYN DR 

A disturbance among 2 neighbors, 1 of whom complained about the other. The one who was complained about emerged with a knife. No injuries occurred. 

FARMCREST ST 

In a family argument, a child was being unruly. The police were called to talk to the kid.

A verbal custody argument over children. 

DEMPSEY RD / EDSEL DR

A vandalism incident, wherein 3 vehicles were painted with the word “CRIP” in red lettering. No video or suspects. 

January 2, 2020

TRENTO LP 

A passport, previously reported as lost, was found in a garage. 

January 3, 2020

SPRING VALLEY LN 

An abandoned makeshift trailer was found dumped on the street, unmarked. Police couldn’t find an owner, so they had it cleaned up/taken away. 

January 4, 2020

ARBOR WY 

Police were called to a civil dispute between an ex-boyfriend and girlfriend over a vehicle they once shared. Though the matter is now civil, if not resolved, it will turn criminal. 

January 6, 2020

SMITHWOOD ST 

A caller saw a person in their backyard. The person did not attempt to enter the caller’s home. Police searched neighboring yards, but found no suspect. Video of the subject was unclear. 

N ABBOTT AVE

An elderly missing person from a care home in Hayward was found in Milpitas and returned home. No medical issues were found. 

January 7, 2020

GREAT MALL DR

A former employee of a Great Mall store was found to have embezzled $1,500. Officers sent a warrant request in to the D.A.

BARBER LN 

A vehicle was vandalized, with window glass broken. 

January 9, 2020

S MAIN ST 

A suspicious person was seen lurking near a business, then found by officers. Upon being found, he gave a false name, and was proven to be under the influence and in possession of drugs. The suspect was then arrested and taken to jail. 

ESCUELA PKWY

High school officials called the police when 2 juveniles, a boyfriend and a girlfriend, got in a fight.
