On today’s episode of The Bay Area Beat we celebrate Bad Ass women with the first of our series of conversations with successful entrepreneurs.
Michelle Diederich is a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy group facilitator and Founder and owner at www.solacemist.com. Michelle overcame a near death experience in 2009 and has dedicated her life to the health and well being of herself and her community. She is also a Theta healer and Reiki Master practitioner. As well as Practicing CBT Cognitive Behavior therapy through her son Noah who is on the Spectrum.
“These children are our teachers. Autism needs no cure. Autism needs acceptance and a world that is willing to learn from souls on the spectrum.”
Lacy Vincent is a graduate with honors from Gurnick Medical Academy as a nurse. Currently, her focus has turned to helping others, especially women find their inner strength and beauty by aligning with a conscious entrepreneurial company that strives on health, wealth and a balance between work/life. She has successfully helped many learn how to tap into the digital space, teaching them how to create multi-streams of revenue that provides the ability to work remotely so that they are able to earn the income they desire, travel and spend quality time with their families.

Adam Mendoza
Adam Mendoza
Adam Mendoza is a freelance writer for national and local publications. Originally from Los Angeles CA, he studied Journalism at San Jose State from 1982-1986. Adam’s career has taken him from promotional products and merchandising professional to managing retail operations in Hawaii for nearly 10 years. Over the past few years Adam has been a staunch advocate for promoting student achievement in education and training for the inbound college experience. Recently, he has been working with educators and recruitment professionals featuring high achieving youth in lower economic and at risk areas in a positive and empowering light through various media platforms. His work with Inspire Higher and College Declaration Days has led him down a path seeking stories of inspiration and hope, determination and achievement. Adam also lends his talents to Ad copy-writing, and is a Vocalist performing with various acts in the San Jose Bay Area, as well as a Radio Voice Over Talent. He also finds time to work at Trader Joe’s, an environment he really believes in. He especially enjoys lending his customer service experience and mentoring talents with his fellow crewmembers in Los Gatos CA.
