Over the Weekend: Vehicle Flees from Police

This past Saturday, April 13, at about a quarter past 11 at night, the Milpitas Police Department got a call…

A resident on N. Hillview Drive’s 900 block saw suspicious vehicles parked in a neighbor’s driveway: an SUV and a red sedan.

Milpitas Police officers soon arrived. Right away, both cars tried to take off. The red sedan’s driver crashed right into a parked car — then into a police car! At the time, an officer was in the police car, but wasn’t hurt.

The red sedan proceeded to flee. Police went after it, but in time stopped the chase due to public safety concerns. As for the SUV, it made a successful escape from the area.
