Milpitas’ 2022 Veterans Day Ceremony

“We have so many remarkable examples of courage, sacrifice, and service to reflect on today. Let’s take this opportunity now and on Veterans Days in the years to come to celebrate their service to our nation, to demonstrate the appreciation we have for our military, and to inspire future generations to dedicate themselves in the same way in the name of the many who have come before them.” ~ Steve Fondacaro, Colonel, Army (ret)

Victorino Monzon, Commander and Navy combat veteran, who served from 1970-1994, was named Veteran of the Year.

  1. Great pics of the Veteran’s Day Ceremony. The Milpitas Community Concert Band was there playing live music and I don’t see any pictures. FYI this is a volunteer band. In fact, to be in it, you register with the city and pay a nominal fee. They will be playing at the city tree lightning ceremony as well. The MCCB has been playing for city events and free concerts for 30 years.
