MHS Hosts Latino Student Achievement Award Ceremony

Last Wednesday, October 24, at the Milpitas High School Theater, students, families, teachers, school board members, and community gathered together for the Latino Student Achievement Award Ceremony. 72 students were honored during the program, which featured live music, a photographic presentation, a rose ceremony, and even a special duet performance with Milpitas High School principal Francis Rojas and Master of Ceremonies Dr. Gerry Lopez, an Early Childhood Development Coordinator for the school district. Police Chief Armando Corpuz was the guest speaker.
