At the City Council Meeting on Nov 19, I publicly thanked many who were involved with the well-conducted Veterans Day Ceremony.
At the City Council Meeting on Dec 17, I publicly thanked another group, saying that I’d been remiss in not acknowledging them…
The Center Stage Performing Arts group, which is part of the Recreation and Community Services division, performed at the Veterans Luncheon on Nov 16 in the Community Service auditorium. They danced, entertained, and sang oldies from before my time — and I am a Senior. And they sang them like I remember them being sung many years ago.
Today’s youth tend to get a bad rap, but these young, talented, exuberant young adults made our Veterans Luncheon a truly enjoyable event.
