Dear Editor:
On August 23, 2022, The Knights of Columbus St. Elizabeth Council 8747 presented grant award checks from Columbian Foundation in the amount of $5,000.00 to Milpitas Unified School District for Special Education Program at Milpitas High School. This is in addition to the donation from Council 8747 on May 10, 2022 in the amount of $5,009.19, which brings the total donation to $10,009.19.
We would like to express our gratitude for the generosity and support of our members and donors, families and friends, Fr. Andy C. Ligot and Fr. Duong Nguyen, and St. Elizabeth Parish Community, Milpitas Unified School District Board Members, Superintendent and staff, teachers, students volunteers, and parents. Also to Ocean Supermarket for consistent and strong support year after year. We have been very successful, because we all work together.
