Great Mall Hosts 4th Annual Lunar New Year Festival

Great Mall will be hosting its fourth annual Lunar New Year festival this weekend.

Come celebrate the Year of the Pig throughout the mall on Saturday, February 2, from 10am – 3pm.

Here’s a look at the schedule:

10:00 am: Red envelope giveaway, while supplies last (Simon Guest Services)

12:00 – 12:30 pm; 1:30 – 2:00 pm: Lion and dragon dancers (Near Entrance 5)

12:30 – 3:00 pm: Calligraphy silk fans (Near UNIQLO)

1:00 – 3:00 pm: Panda character meet & greet (throughout the center)

1:00 – 3:00 pm: Children’s arts & crafts (Near Simon Guest Services)

And here’s something interesting to check out: If you pay a visit next to Simon Guests Services, you’ll find a panel display of all 12 Chinese Zodiac Animals; stop by to read about all of the strengths and characteristics associated with each one, and to also learn about your own Zodiac Animal. This display will be up until mid-February, so you have some time to check it out.

Savings Passports, which are full of great deals and discounts, will also be available at Simon Guest Services up until February 17.

They’re calling rain for Saturday, so you’ll have the perfect excuse to head over to the Great Mall. Come, stay dry, and join in on the Lunar New Year festivities. Here’s the address: 447 Great Mall Dr, Milpitas, CA 95035
