Bodhi Meditation Silicon Valley will host its annual Cultural Unity in Wellness Festival on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the Milpitas Community Center and Civic Center, bringing together residents of all backgrounds for a day of cultural celebration, wellness experiences, family activities, and community connection.
The free community event also commemorates two important milestones: the 35th Anniversary of Bodhi Meditation and the 13th Anniversary of Bodhi Meditation Day, officially designated by the City of Milpitas in 2014.
Expected to attract more than 2,500 attendees, the festival’s theme is simple yet powerful: uniting cultures, communities, and organizations through health, happiness, and compassion.
“Milpitas is one of the most diverse cities in Silicon Valley,” said Yannie Wang, Executive Director of Bodhi Meditation Silicon Valley USA. “Through this event, we hope to create opportunities for people of different cultures, generations, and backgrounds to come together, build connections, and experience wellness in an inclusive and welcoming environment.”
The event will feature:
- Multicultural performances representing the rich diversity of the Milpitas community
- Meditation and wellness experiences, including guided walking meditation, energy healing, and relaxation activities
- Cultural booths and interactive exhibits
- Family-friendly games, arts and crafts, and wellness activities
- Healthy food vendors and community organizations
- Prize drawings and giveaways throughout the day
Community leaders and elected officials are expected to participate in the opening ceremony, celebrating Milpitas’ commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community well-being.
For more than 17 years, Bodhi Meditation Silicon Valley has provided free and low-cost meditation programs and services serving tens of thousands of Milpitas and Bay Area residents.
Through classes, retreats, and community outreach, the organization strives to help individuals improve their physical health, emotional well-being, and quality of life.
