On Friday, July 31, at 11:00a.m., Assemblymember Kansen Chu will host a virtual Town Hall with California State Treasurer Fiona Ma to discuss the resources available to small business owners impacted by COVID-19. Representatives from the Alameda County Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Silicon Valley SBDC will also present on resources available to small businesses and will be available to answer questions.
“COVID-19 has caused extreme hardships on small businesses everywhere,” said Assemblymember Kansen Chu (D- Milpitas). “I am a firm believer that small businesses are the backbones of our community. I want to make sure owners know the resources available to them, and get the assistance they need to apply for financial support.”
“As a former small business owner I know how difficult it is to sort out all the programs, loans, grants, and information that are critical to your success,” said Treasurer Ma. “With small businesses facing tough times, access to relevant information is even more critical.”
