It’s time, once again, for the annual Adobo Festival. A celebration of FIlipino food, music, and culture, the festival is happening on August 3rd and 4th at 101 N. Main Street in Milpitas (at the Windsor Street entrance of the Milpitas Public Library’s parking garage).
Complete with nonstop live entertainment, the festival will feature guest artist Tom Rodriguez from GMA’s Lady Dragon series. Local Milpitas singer Zeyonce Brown will also be performing. And an Adobo Kick-off Contest, along with a Kiddie Popstar Contest (for ages 4-10), will be part of the festivities. Many booths will be giving away freebies.
The Adobo Festival started out in Daly City, and has gone up in other places, too, such as Newark, San Jose, Vallejo, Union City, Martinez, Sacramento, and Stockton. It will go from 11am to 7pm both days. Admission is free.
