Letter to the Editor
Beloved Milpitas, as we celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to share my gratitude and a bit of personal news with our community. Earlier this year, in April, I was diagnosed with cancer. I underwent surgery in May and completed chemotherapy treatments from June to October, all while battling COVID in August. It has truly been a challenging and emotional year.
But through God’s grace, I am grateful and overjoyed to share that I am now cancer free. This November, I am officially NED, no evidence of disease. I thank God for His healing, His strength, and His unending love. I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my family, friends, supporters, colleagues, and to our wonderful community.
Hundreds of you reached out with prayers, love, and encouragement throughout this journey. Your kindness has lifted me in ways I will never forget.
As we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, may we take time to reflect on our blessings, cherish our loved ones, and remember those who are still fighting this disease. Let them not feel alone.
With this renewed life, I am even more energized, hopeful, and ready for the future. Each of us has a purpose, and I intend to fulfill mine with God’s help.
