“Our mission is to bring together disruptive technologies including social, blockchain, and mobile, to help spread kindness across entire communities,” said Tej Gundavelli, Founder and CEO, Touch-A-Life Foundation. “Everyone is welcome to attend our upcoming event to learn more about the exciting activities we have planned for the next year.”
Built on blockchain and AI technologies, TAL Giving is designed to facilitate a transparent connection between those in need and those than can provide help and support, through easy-to-use mobile and desktop apps. TAL Giving enables both individual and corporate donors to provide educational, food, medical, shelter, and clothing assistance to citizens of all ages—from students to seniors—with just a few taps or clicks. The app will launch on iOS and Android devices this month, with an initial rollout across the greater San Francisco Bay Area. TAL Giving will eventually expand nationwide.
“Solix Technologies is a valued partner of the JDRF One Walk, Silicon Valley. Their impact on this community event is helping to fund life-changing breakthroughs for type 1 diabetes research,” said Kevin O’Scanlon, Development Director, JDRF International. “We are excited for their launch of the Touch-A-Life platform and for their creation of additional avenues that connect communities with causes they care about. JDRF believes that by connecting the greatest minds with the most promising research, we will create a world without T1D.”
“As the superintendent of ESUHSD, I am excited and very grateful for the solution developed by the Touch-A-Life Foundation with the launch of the TAL Giving Platform. This platform will expand donors who want to help support students and families who are homeless and attending our schools. We need to increase the opportunities for our homeless students so that they have an opportunity to stay in school and earn a high school diploma.”
“We are proud to support the development of Touch-A-Life’s new life-changing platform,” said Veena Gundavelli, CEO/Founder, Emagia Corporation. TAL Annual Day 2019 is supported by both Solix Technologies and Emagia Corporation as charter members. Touch-A-Life charter members’ proceeds are used to cover administrative and operational expenses, so that the rest of donors’ donations go 100% to the donees. Dinner and refreshments will be served throughout the event.
