A Celebration of Colors
A demonstration of oil on canvas/wood by Bhavna Misra
Local artist, Bhavna Misra, is a muralist and art contractor and the recipient of many awards.
Bhavna created art from an early age.  She received positive encouragement and a very conducive environment to grow as an artist.  She practices every day and likes to surround herself with things that inspire creativity, cheer and focus to make a difference.  She has attended art courses at local community college but she doesn’t have a formal arts degree.
Bhavna specializes in issue themed artwork.  Currently, focus of her work is on the urgency of action in response to climate change and he need of lifestyle alterations accordingly.  To do so, she is painting a series of local landscapes that are scheduled to be displayed at various Bay Area locations  Her style is a balance of realism and expressionism.  She uses full palette color schemes to convey harmonious rhythm and sense of peace while maintaining accuracy and proportions.
Please join us . Meeting at 7:00 p.m.; Demonstration begins at 8:00 p.m.
