Assemblymember Kansen Chu (D – Milpitas) will be hosting his sixth annual Community Heroes Awards and would like to invite members of our community to submit nominations. This is an annual tradition started by Assemblymember Chu to honor local heroes for their good deeds. The honorees are nominated solely by community members and are recognized during an award ceremony.
“During these tough times, many people have stepped up to help uplift the lives of those living in their community. These heroes need to be recognized for their acts of kindness and compassion. While COVID-19 will make our celebration look different than previous years, I am still looking forward to honoring our local heroes,” said Assemblymember Kansen Chu.
For the last five years, honorees were recognized because they dedicated their time and efforts to make our community a better place to live, work, play and retire.
